Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take full mouth series of x-rays as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of decay that occurs between teeth of posterior teeth.

Dental Implants
We will work with an implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance.

Teeth Bleaching
Our state-of-the-art, in-office Power Bleaching system, Zoom will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. Another option is our home bleaching system, Opalescence you take with you for results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results. Please visit www.opalescence.com for more information about Opalescence.

Porcelain Crowns or Onlays
Our office is proud to be one of the few in Atlanta to offer CEREC
technology to our patients. CEREC is a CAD/CAM system that allows Dr.
Freeman to design perfectly fitting porcelain restorations that match your
teeth, AND deliver your new porcelain crown or onlay in only one visit!
So, no more gagging impressions or uncomfortable temporary restorations. You will leave our office with your new crown or onlay bonded in place in under 2 hours.

Veneers
Veneers are porcelain facings that are bonded to the front teeth and help transform your smile. They are very strong and durable. With them, we can mask discolored or chipped teeth with minimal tooth reduction and maximum cosmetic improvement.

Fillings: Resin
Composite resin fillings are white colored fillings that bond to the
tooth. They are an ideal cosmetic alternative for small cavities.

Root Canals
Dr. Freeman performs all root canal therapy in the comfort of our office
using the latest techniques in the endodontic field.

Periodontal Treatment

Periodontal Disease is a bacterial infection that gets under the gums and into the bone around your teeth, causing inflammation. Periodontal inflammation leads to tooth loss and may contribute to other medical conditions. The resulting bone loss leaves loose excess tissue that bacteria can get underneath. This loose, "good for nothing" tissue is called a pocket. The periodontal infection must be removed and the area given a chance to heal. This is often accomplished through non-surgical periodontal treatment, including scaling and root planing (a careful cleaning of the root surfaces to remove plaque and calculus [tartar] from deep periodontal pockets and to smooth the tooth root to remove bacterial toxins), followed by adjunctive therapy such as local delivery antimicrobials and host modulation, as needed on a case-by-case basis.

Mouth Guards
Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We custom make mouth guards in both soft and hard materials.

Removable Dental Prosthesis
For missing teeth, we can make dentures or removable partials for you.

Soft Tissue Laser
The primary use of a soft-tissue laser is the modification or removal of intra-oral soft tissue. The photo-thermal effects of the laser’s energy allow the Doctor to modify tissues and control hemostasis at the same time by coagulation. The post-operative response of the laser care will usually produce a cleaner and healthier surgical site with less discomfort when compared to alternative methods of surgery. Soft tissue lasers enable minor surgical procedures and decontaminate the area at the same time. There is less chance of infection, and some soft tissue procedures around the gingiva can be completed without anesthesia.
The laser also promotes healing for infected and irritated tissues. Since there is a favorable response to laser treatment, the resultant healing is less complicated and often shorter when compared to traditional techniques.

In many cases, the laser can also be used to treat deep gingival pockets that harbor bacteria and cause gum disease. An additional benefit of dental diode laser technology is its ability to reduce the pain and longevity of cold sores and fever blisters.

Diagnodent
Providing the absolute best service to our patients is one of our goals. That is why Dr. Freeman has invested in a brand new, high tech tool that allows us to find cavities on the surfaces of  teeth, even when they are just beginning, and would have been missed by previous detection methods. The DIAGNOdent is a small, portable laser unit that can detect these cavities and alert us with an audible signal and also provide a numerical readout, so we have an idea of its size. The value is that we can stop cavities in their earliest stages, whereas in the past they would have to be significantly bigger before we could find and treat them. Just like other areas of medicine and dentistry, early detection and treatment is of immeasurable value in preserving your health. Also, please add one of the attached pictures of the DIAGNOdent along with this information.

Intra Oral Photography
Dr. Freeman is a firm believer in keeping his patients well informed about their dental health and the dental services that they may receive at his office. For this reason, he uses an intraoral camera. An intraoral camera is a highly advanced innovation in dentistry that allows us to get a close-up view inside your mouth.

We can zoom in on one tooth or give you a video tour of your mouth. The images are displayed on a large screen, so you'll be able to see problems such as worn or broken fillings, cracked teeth, plaque deposits, cavities next to fillings, gum disease, or excessive wear. And after we've treated your dental condition, the intraoral camera lets you see, up, close, your beautiful, healthy teeth and gums.

You can see what we see

The intraoral camera allows you to be an active partner in your dental treatment by enabling you to see what we see inside your mouth. With a clear understanding of your dental conditions, you'll be able to make treatment decisions with confidence.
